I wanted to take some time to share more about E-Design Services, a new interior design package that we introduced this year. I’ll start by answering a few questions, then we’ll dive into specifics about how the E-Design process works, and what you can expect to receive when all is said and done.

what is E-Design?

E-Design Services are a completely online interior design service, where we share ideas, and collaborate on your design project using e-mail, phone calls, virtual meetings and collaboration tools. We like to think of E-Design as an affordable approach to interior design services with the opportunity to create a home that is elegant, tailored, and completely customized to who you are and what you love.

WILL E-Design Services WORK FOR ME?

Some of the main advantages to E-Design Services are the affordable price-point, and the flexibility to work together on your project anywhere and anytime. If you’re located in Houston, but you’ve seen our work and would like to collaborate on your project, then this could be the perfect solution. We also find that E-Design works well for our clients with hectic schedules, whether you’re a busy Mom juggling lots of obligations, or a professional who isn’t available to meet during the daytime and frankly would rather spend weekends doing something other then design meetings (we won’t take it personally!).

How does E-Design work?

Now let’s dive-in to the nuts and bolts of how the E-Design process works. We like processes and systems over here, so we’ve broken down the E-Design process into 7 simple steps. Check out this snazzy graphic.

How long does E-Design take?

In most cases, we think that the E-Design process should take just 3-4 weeks from project inception to final styling tips. We say 'most cases' because good communication is important to keep the E-Design project on track. Once we receive your initial inquiry about a new E-Design project, we'll reach out to you within 48 hours to find out more about your project and how we can best serve you.

Once you've completed the Design Questionnaire (step 1) and submitted the E-Design project fee (step 2) our design process takes just 2-3 weeks (sometimes even quicker, depending on the projects that we have in our pipeline). The last two steps (6 & 7) feedback, revisions, and final styling tips can be wrapped up in just 1 week, which means that you can get down to ordering the suggested items and debuting your beautiful new space to friends and family! 

What is included? 

  • A kick-off phone call with your designer to discuss your project
  • Design board including furniture, accessories, & a color palette
  • An itemized furniture layout plan
  • A personalized and shop-able list of furniture & décor selections for your space
  • Up to 1 hour of revisions to the design plan or furniture selections, based on your feedback
  • Final styling tips to help you finish off your space, and make it look magazine-worthy!
