At Frances Lauren Interiors, we define our style as Easy, Elegant Interior Design. We create timeless interiors that combine both traditional and modern design elements, to convey a sense of unbuttoned elegance.
Located in Atlanta, we serve clients around Atlanta and Middle Georgia, as well as across the United States, with a particular focus on the design and restoration of historic homes.
From kitchen renovations and design consultations, to full service interior projects, we love working with you to transform your home into a space that you’ll love for years to come.
As the daughter of a self-employed graphic designer, I grew up sketching with colored pencils at my mother’s drafting table, and rearranging my bedroom. Art and design were always a part of my life, and I remember at 7 telling my Mom that I wanted to be “an interior designer of hotels, resorts, and spas” when I grew up.
I began my interior design career in 2003, working as an intern with two local interior designers in my hometown of Tallahassee, FL. I went on to attend Florida State University where in 2007, I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design and a concentration in art and architectural history.
After graduation, I pursued my dream and worked in hotel and restaurant design, traveling to job sites throughout the United States and overseeing new build and renovation projects for Marriott and other hotel development groups. My work carried me to Seattle, Chicago, New York, and Paris, so I was able to explore and experience a wealth of different cultures and styles.
After several years working in the hospitality design industry, I realized that my primary passion was designing homes. So in 2016 I launched Frances Lauren Interiors in New York City, with the vision to create timeless interiors combining both traditional and modern design elements, to convey a sense of unbuttoned elegance.
In the spring of 2018, my husband and I moved from New York to Atlanta, relocating our lives and our businesses so that we could move closer to our families. Let me tell you, this was no small task, but it has been so rewarding both personally and professionally to return home to the south.
In addition to my work as an interior designer, I’ve also created a collection of home textiles (Lauren Servati Textiles) which I frequently incorporate into my projects. When I’m not designing, I love painting, scouting for beautiful old antiques, and visiting my favorite local coffee shops.
