Friday Favorites: September 15, 2017

It's Friday! And there is so much I'm thankful for this week. Is it Thanksgiving yet?! This time last weekend, I was quite concerned for the safety of my family living in Florida and the southeast region who were in the path of Hurricane Irma. Now they've all come through the storm unharmed, and I'm super thankful for that.

We've also had a week of 80+ degree temperatures here in New York, and that is always a joy and a blessing. Here, I want to share with you a few favorites. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

1. Endless Field Album

I'm pleased to share with you today this gorgeous new album from Endless Field. My husband and I recently attended one of their concerts, and have been listening to this album on repeat at home. The music is beautiful and transporting. You can hear some of the tracks on their website and also download the album directly from the site. Be sure to check out the tune Daybreak In Canyonland. It's my personal favorite so far.

2. Origins Eye Doctor

I began looking for a new eye cream this spring, and went through several different options before settling on this one from Origins. I've been using it for about four months so far, and I'm quite pleased! My original aim was to find a good cream for wrinkle prevention, but I've noticed an improvement in dark under-eye cirlces as well. If you're looking for this sort of item, I recommend giving this one a try.

3. European Chest, Wisteria

I came across this chest while doing some browsing. It's a beautiful piece (at a great price!) and I'm loving all of the details as well. I love the green-grey finish on the piece. It can go with so many color palettes. And the gold details on the drawer fronts remind me of visits to Versailles. I also love the delicate gold tassel drawer pulls. This is a highly versatile piece that could serve as a chest in an entryway, an additional piece in a living room, or a small dresser for a guest bedroom.

4. Cafe Grumpy at Stone and Broad Street

I've been going to Cafe Grumpy for years (usually at their Chelsea location) and am so happy to now welcome this location to the neighborhood. Maybe I'm just late to the bandwagon, but I just found this one. I love the interior space, clean and bright with their signature orange accents. The baristas were warm and friendly as well, and the coffee is great!
